Freda "A Ship is Sailing"

To all those who have been followers of Freda's posts on my blog site:
For the last few days, Freda has been off shore of Heaven, searching for a place to put in.
This morning, she found her way safely into the harbor and her ship docked.
Now, she will be gazing out to sea, awaiting arrival of the rest of us.
If you don't know Jesus, as your personal Savior, now is the time to make that move, onto that ship!  You might not get another chance to do it!  Without being on that ship, you will not be allowed into the same port as Freda.
For those of us, who know Jesus, in that special way; we have the promise of being Sister Freda once again.  May God bless you and keep you, till that time comes.
Be sure to continue to follow the posts on my blog site, as some of them will be stories that Sister Freda told to me about her life.
I am ready to accept your comments and condolences on her behalf.  Thank you!

Freda's Thoughts, "My cousin, the Queen"

Needless to say, Freda's family was not quite proud of this relative!  Freda didn't wish to disclose these facts for quite some time. But now, she isn't embarrassed anymore. As the old saying goes, "You can choose your friends, but you can't choose your relatives!"
Freda understands that it would be nothing but pride to keep this away from her friends and blog post followers.
As Freda approaches the final days of her life, she felt it was alright to let a list of some of her ancestors be published here.  As she sees it; none of them made her who is today, but they contributed to the rich history of her family.
The following, came from a friend, who researched her ancestry.
I have had the pleasure of knowing Freda and being a friend a close friend for about 20 years now.  As she is called to be with Jesus, I will certainly miss her sweet smile, her wisdom, and her pleasant personality.  But I know that we will continue our friendship, when we meet someday in heaven.  If she remains till her birthday, (Feb. 11th) she would be 95 yrs. old.
Please keep us both in your prayers, as she nears her departure date (known only to God).

Freda's Thoughts "Memories of Love"

I hope you have enjoyed reading all of  "Freda's Thought" over the years.  Any that I am able to post, from her notes and journals, I will share with you.  But, right now, she has reached a point in her life, when she is no longer able to produce any new posts.  She is on hospice care in my home.  We are making her as comfortable as possible.
I hope you will make comments on her posts now and in the future.  Please send her your prayers and thoughts.
Thank you!

Freda's Thoughts "A New Day!"

Sister Freda is taking things one day at a time.  Her hospice care is helping her to make her journey a bit easier.  But she realizes that her goal is to be by Jesus' side - now in spirit, but one day, face to face.  Please keep her in your thoughts and prayers.  And, if you would, please leave your comments to encourage her. Thanks. The Old Man in the Bib Overalls
