Freda's Thoughts - "Labor Day"

If you read Freda's posts on any regular basis, I'm sure you have seen that
she is a woman driven by her faith.  Here, she shows the truth of God's Word,
found in 2 Chronicles 7:14.  If you agree or disagree with what she has to say,
I hope that you don't disagree with God's Word!
Please leave a comment here, to encourage Freda to continue to write these posts.

Freda's Thoughts - "I'm a Mountain Climber!"

I've known Freda only about 1/5 of her life, but I know
that she is faced with mountains.  I also know that she
can make some of those out of those molehills.  But, when
she makes the ascent to the top and finds peace with God,
she finds that her descent is worth the effort to climb.
Please leave a word of encouragement for her.  Thanks.

Freda's Thoughts "Being Almanzo's Cousin"

If you are new to this blog, I'd like to introduce you to Freda.
She writes a post for this blog, posted on Fridays.
Freda came to be my house guest a few years ago.
After arriving and having a genealogical search done for her, she discovered that she was Almanzo Wilder's cousin.  She cherishes the thought of this, as she so admires Almanzo's wife Laura Ingalls Wilder and her literary works.
I had brought Freda along with me when I moved to Mansfield.  She had been living in a low-cost apartment, taking care of herself after he husband died.
But when she could not longer care for herself and had developed some health concerns, I decided to take her in with me and care for her.
Without her knowledge, she grew up experiencing many of the same things as Laura and Almanzo.  And, as I am helping her in writing her memoirs, I find it amazing to think that their lives were so similar, even though there is a generation or two in between.
At the present time, Freda enjoys writing inspirational, and sometimes poetic posts or little stories from her early life.
She has much to share from her 92 years!  I hope you'll enjoy her posts. And please leave a comment here to encourage her. Thanks.
